Ethanol Fuel Blends Better than Gasoline! - 2/08/08
Research conducted by the University of North Dakota and Minnesota Center for Automotive Research finds that ethanol blends can provide better fuel economy than regular gasoline. They find that cars get better gas mileage with an E20-E30 ethanol blend than with gasoline also harmful emissions were reduced. The automobiles the researchers used where manufactured by Ford, Toyota, and Chevrolet.
J.T. Cloud President of Gulf Ethanol Corporation states, “This study confirms the advantages of Gulf Ethanol’s goal of producing cellulosic ethanol in the Gulf Coast region. We continue to believe that drivers will see direct benefits from ethanol blends and that new technologies will provide a strong boost to the economy surrounding each plant.”
