Trulite Wins Development Contract from the Navy - 10/30/08

Trulite is a developer and manufacturer of portable hydrogen power generators.  They were recently awarded a half million dollar contract to develop a high energy density hydrogen generator that has the capacity to produce up to five hundred watts of power in a portable unit.

The development contract for the Navy will develop a power system in a small portable package with hydrogen storage capabilities and a capacity of two thousand watt-hours per kilogram.

The program has the potential to provide new higher energy density with a hydrogen fuel solution for the military and commercial.  The military believes these new high energy portable units will allow them to be more mobile on the battle field.

The solutions that are developed from the program will provide power solutions for the military in the areas of: battery chargers, medical power needs, mobile command, backup power, robots, small vehicles and others.

Trulite has become a leader in the solid hydrogen storage industry by developing commercial PEM fuel cells using sodium borohydride to generate hydrogen.

Trulite will partner with BoroScience International, Inc. in this project.  BoroScience are experts in the formulation of chemical hydride compounds.  They will develop a proprietary compound, which will be essential in the development of the new high energy density hydrogen generator.
